Rose is the oldest of four children and takes on a caring, active role in her family. She loves spending time with her siblings and enjoys simple joys like playing outside, walking to the park, playing with her dolls, and watching TV together. Her family is currently receiving support from DCFS as they work toward greater stability. Rose’s days are filled with imagination, movement, and sibling connection, and she continues to find comfort in play and time spent with the people she loves most.

Rose is currently working with her caseworker and counselor to build important life skills, including personal hygiene and learning to bathe independently without assistance from her mom. This is an important step in her growth toward greater confidence and self-sufficiency. A Target gift card would give Rose the opportunity to shop with her counselor for age-appropriate hygiene supplies of her own. Being able to choose these items herself would not only support her learning but also help her feel more comfortable and empowered as she practices this new skill. This support would be meaningful for both Rose and her family as she continues developing independence.
