Elizabeth is a helpful, kind, and supportive individual who continues to build a meaningful life after aging out of foster care. She is actively involved in supporting a local nonprofit and finds purpose in giving back to her community. Elizabeth is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in social work with the long-term goal of becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), working within school systems to support youth. Her personal goals include securing a place to rent and moving out of her brother’s home, undergoing gastric bypass surgery as part of her health journey, and continuing her higher education. Elizabeth is committed to growth, stability, and creating a future where she can support both herself and others.

Elizabeth is working hard to reenter the workforce. After experiencing significant weight loss, she no longer has clothing that fits properly and has been attending job interviews in jeans because she does not have professional clothes. As she works toward this new chapter in her life, having clothes that fit well would help her feel confident and prepared. Professional outfits would allow Elizabeth to make a strong first impression during interviews and feel comfortable and confident as she pursues employment and greater independence.
