Marley was placed in their aunt's care due to their father being incarcerated and their mother struggling with active drug addiction. Marley strives to excel in school and has maintained a high grade point average throughout the school year. They are involved in band, where they play the saxophone. Additionally, Marley performs in the marching band and participates in school plays. They enjoy swimming, shopping, and doing crafts. After high school, Marley would like to become a hairstylist. They are very responsible and have built a strong network of close friends at school who share similar interests.

Marley could use a new mattress, as they are currently sleeping on a very old, worn-out borrowed mattress. A new, comfortable mattress would provide a safe and restful place to sleep each night. It would also give Marley long-term stability and comfort for years to come, including into young adulthood.
