Brian wants to help with outdoor work and he takes that seriously. He needs proper boots to do it safely. Beyond the practical need, a pair of boots picked out specifically for him would mean something real. For a young person in foster care who has often had to make do, having something chosen just for him is a quiet but meaningful reminder that he matters.
