After spending time in foster care and experiencing homelessness, he has worked hard to achieve stability and now lives independently. Throughout his journey, Nolan has faced significant mental health challenges with courage and self-acceptance. He has come to fully embrace who he is, and with the right support, he will continue to grow and succeed.
Nolan is scheduled to undergo ankle surgery, which will significantly limit his mobility. For the first few weeks after the surgery, standing in the shower will be unsafe, and the doctors have recommended that he use a shower chair. In addition to the physical challenges of recovery, Nolan will be unable to work, which will create a financial strain. Providing him with a shower chair will help ensure his safety and independence while bathing, support a safer recovery, and ease some of the financial burden he is already facing.
