Sara is an incredible young girl, smart and resilient. Currently, she and her older brother are staying with a family friend while their father and stepmother are being detained. Tragically, Sara's biological mother passed away from complications related to COVID-19 and infections when Sara was just a baby, leaving a lingering void in her life. Life has been challenging for her guardians, coming from Venezuela, as they strive to find stable work and housing to provide for both Sara and her brother. Sara and her brother have felt a deep sadness, missing their family. Like any girl her age, Sara enjoys the simple pleasures of life: playing with her dolls, watching YouTube, dancing, and indulging in arts and crafts, as well as enjoying video games. Her favorite color, purple, reflects her vibrant spirit. Despite the challenges she faces, Sara embodies hope and strength, reminding us all of the power of resilience and the importance of community support

Sara has been experiencing loneliness since being separated from her parents. She will be reunited soon and can’t wait to see them again. As she counts down to the day she will be reunited, Sara needs things to engage with to keep her busy during times of boredom until her big day comes. The perfect floor puzzle will be a great gift for Sara, who sometimes gets overwhelmed or overstimulated. This floor puzzle will keep her calm and in her own space until she can meet her loved ones.
