Sara is an incredible young girl, smart and resilient. Currently, she and her older brother are staying with a family friend while their father and stepmother are being detained. Tragically, Sara's biological mother passed away from complications related to COVID-19 and infections when Sara was just a baby, leaving a lingering void in her life. Life has been challenging for her guardians, coming from Venezuela, as they strive to find stable work and housing to provide for both Sara and her brother. Sara and her brother have felt a deep sadness, missing their family. Like any girl her age, Sara enjoys the simple pleasures of life: playing with her dolls, watching YouTube, dancing, and indulging in arts and crafts, as well as enjoying video games. Her favorite color, purple, reflects her vibrant spirit. Despite the challenges she faces, Sara embodies hope and strength, reminding us all of the power of resilience and the importance of community support

Sara has been feeling lonely since being separated from her parents and is looking forward to the day she can be reunited with them. In the meantime, it is important to help her stay engaged, supported, and uplifted during the summer months. A few new swimsuits would be a wonderful gift for Sara as she spends time at the beach and enjoys outdoor activities. These items would give her the opportunity to make positive summer memories, stay active, and experience moments of joy while she awaits her reunion with her loved ones.
