After her husband, who was the source of her family's income, suffered an injury and lost his ability to work, their family fell behind on many bills. One of Monique's children relies on medical equipment to survive, and this equipment uses electricity. This money towards their electric bill would be fundamental in helping them catch up on overdue expenses as they work hard to get back on their feet.
