Sara is an incredible young girl, smart and resilient. Currently, she and her older brother are staying with a family friend while their father and stepmother are being detained. Tragically, Sara's biological mother passed away from complications related to COVID-19 and infections when Sara was just a baby, leaving a lingering void in her life. Life has been challenging for her guardians, coming from Venezuela, as they strive to find stable work and housing to provide for both Sara and her brother. Sara and her brother have felt a deep sadness, missing their family. Like any girl her age, Sara enjoys the simple pleasures of life: playing with her dolls, watching YouTube, dancing, and indulging in arts and crafts, as well as enjoying video games. Her favorite color, purple, reflects her vibrant spirit. Despite the challenges she faces, Sara embodies hope and strength, reminding us all of the power of resilience and the importance of community support

Sara misses her parents and dreams of the moment she can finally hug them. Currently, Sara and her brother are living with a caregiver who is understandably overwhelmed. To help lighten the load and bring a little joy to Sara’s world, a Chick-Fil-A meal would be a wonderful treat. It is her absolute favorite place to eat; she especially loves their macaroni and cheese and potato wedges. A simple meal there would mean the world to her while she waits for that long-awaited reunion with her family.
