Melissa is sweet and resilient, a curious kid who loves learning new languages and expressing herself through art. Despite a rocky start into foster care, she continues to approach life with kindness, hope and a real willingness to learn.

A laptop would let Melissa keep exploring her interests outside the classroom from learning new languages to researching art techniques. Since entering foster care art has become her way of processing feelings and this would support both her creativity and her schoolwork.
