After losing his mom, who was raising him as a single parent, Tyler entered foster care during one of the most painful and isolating moments of his life. Grief and loneliness weighed heavily on him, and he struggled to find a place where he felt grounded. Boxing became that outlet. Training gave him structure, discipline, and a way to release the pain he was carrying when words weren’t enough. Now, Tyler dreams of becoming a boxing coach for youth who are walking a path similar to his, young people dealing with loss, instability, and feeling alone. He wants to be the mentor he needed, using boxing not just to build strength, but to offer connection, guidance, and hope.

Tyler is requesting assistance with obtaining a portable air conditioning unit for his home. His residence does not have central air conditioning, and he is currently relying on fans to cope with the heat. While the fans provide limited relief, they are not sufficient during periods of high temperatures, making it difficult to keep his home at a safe and comfortable temperature. An air conditioning unit would provide much-needed relief, improve his comfort, and help create a healthier living environment during the summer months.
