She enjoys hanging out with friends, drawing, listening to music, crocheting, and reading. Me'lanii is learning how to express her feelings, as she often shuts down when asked about her emotions. She lives with her grandmother and sister and, after experiencing constant moves, is in the process of learning how to settle down and transition.
Me'lanii recently went through a scary bullying situation and has been staying inside more as she copes with anxiety. Drawing and painting are how she processes her emotions, and canvas' to create on would give her a healthy outlet to feel safe and work through what she's going through.
