Kay is a sweet girl who has been a victim of domestic violence. She and her mother had to relocate to escape her abusive father. Despite her young age, Kay is wise beyond her years due to having to be a support system for her mother. She also suffers from anxiety and PTSD. Despite her present situation, Kay is extremely resilient, and given time, she will heal. She just needs the opportunity to be a little girl.

Kay finds comfort in reading, writing stories, and teaching her very own class of stuffed animals. She is beyond excited to start second grade next month and can't wait to move into the school building for the older students, a big milestone she's been looking forward to! As she prepares for this exciting new chapter, Kay needs uniform pants, which her school requires. This package includes three pairs of pants so she can rotate them as needed. These uniform pants will help her start the school year feeling confident, comfortable, and ready to learn.
