She is eager to participate in activities, loves trying new experiences, and enjoys opportunities to stay active and engaged with others. Adriana's wish is for a new pair of tennis shoes that she can wear every day as she begins a new chapter in her life. Recently, Adriana experienced the unexpected loss of her father, who was her primary caregiver. In the wake of this heartbreaking tragedy, her adult sister courageously stepped in to raise Adriana and their younger sister, providing them with love, stability, and a safe home during an incredibly difficult time. Because of the sudden nature of the loss, the girls were left with very few personal belongings and are working to rebuild their everyday essentials. Adriana is an outgoing, resilient 11-year-old who loves participating in activities, trying new things, and staying active. A new pair of tennis shoes would give her the confidence and comfort to continue doing what she loves while helping replace one of the basic necessities she lost.
