Christy was born prematurely at 5 pounds and faces challenges with her eyesight, hearing, heart, and hyperactivity. She is currently receiving speech and occupational therapy to support her growth and development. Christy loves playing outside and tumbling, and she lights up whenever she hears music, often jumping and dancing along. She is a kind, friendly little girl who brings joy to everyone around her.

Christy is being held back in kindergarten and this sight word kit is designed to help kids with Down syndrome build early reading skills. It would give her extra practice with the words she needs so she can move forward with her class.
