Michael is a kind boy who has faced numerous challenges in his young life. His father has been incarcerated, and due to a drug raid, he was separated from his mother and siblings. Tragically, just a few months later, Michael's mother passed away. Throughout his time in foster care, he has experienced five different placements. Despite everything, he loves superheroes and enjoys spending as much time as possible playing outdoors.

Michael has been struggling with the loss of his mother. He has recently moved from his previous placement and is feeling sad and anxious about adjusting to yet another new home. His CASA believes that this workbook will help Michael understand and grieve his loss. The workbook is focused on healing and rebuilding self-esteem. This will provide comfort, encouragement, and hope as he navigates this loss.
