Destiny is a smart young lady who was placed in foster care after being discharged from acute care. Destiny has had many challenges in her life but has not allowed those challenges to stop her from smiling and showing love. Destiny has come a long way and continues to get better each day. She wants to be a teacher one day to help other young people who struggle with learning. Destiny loves to color and paint. She loves to listen to music and walk on the beach picking seashells.

Destiny has been accepted into the community college in her city and is thrilled about the opportunity. She plans to study special education with the goal of transferring to a university after two years. Currently, she lives independently, works part-time, and is saving for a car. Although she hesitates to ask for a new pair of pink clogs for school, having them would boost her morale and help her financially.
