Armando is currently living with his grandparents in a kinship placement after entering foster care when his parents experienced a relapse. In a short period of time, he has had to navigate multiple transitions, first leaving his parents' home, then adjusting to foster care, and now settling into a new home with family. While being surrounded by loved ones offers stability and connection, the many changes have been difficult, and Armando is still learning how to adjust to his new reality.

Armando is wishing for an electric dirt bike for his birthday. After experiencing so many life changes in a short amount of time, he has been working hard to adapt to a new normal. He dreams of having something exciting to call his own, and an electric dirt bike would give him something positive to look forward to during a challenging season. More than just a birthday gift, an electric dirt bike would give Armando an opportunity to get outside, have fun, and simply enjoy being a kid. It would provide a welcome distraction from the stress of recent transitions and create moments of joy, adventure, and freedom.
