Zane aged out of foster care and went straight into an independent living program where he's thrived with support from his case worker. He has his own apartment works full time and hopes to go back to school this fall to become a teacher.

Zane is hoping for a microwave so he can cook easy meals for himself. Like most guys his age he loves anything hot and ready fast and this would make his apartment feel a lot more functional.
