Jah'na is an adventurous young girl who attends school daily and tries her best with her schoolwork. She loves getting her hair braided, which takes at least five hours, but she believes it’s worth the time! Jah'na has many friends and enjoys eating Takis. She is also interested in participating in the school play. Jah'na lives with her widowed father and receives support from the Department of Children and Families Services.

Jah'na is staying with a family friend for now after a fire at her house, and she’s really thankful for their help. To feel a bit more independent, she’s hoping to get a Wawa gift card. It would allow her to pick up food and snacks whenever she wants without having to ask all the time. Having that little extra freedom would mean a lot to her, whether it’s grabbing a sub, a soda, or some candy, and it would make her feel less like a burden while she’s in a tough situation.
