Monique is a very smart and talented girl who currently lives in a foster home with her sister. Although foster care has been challenging for Monique, she finds comfort in knowing she is not alone. She enjoys going to school, and her favorite subjects are math and art. Monique aspires to be a photographer.

Monique is excited to start the new school year and is especially looking forward to playing volleyball. She is wishing for a new pair of athletic shoes that will help her feel confident and prepared as she steps onto the court.
