Emilie is a teen residing in foster care. She has really been struggling the last few months. She has faced some tragedies in her life that no one, especially her age, should have to deal with. She is doing her best to push through this trauma and wants to better herself. She loves to write and English is her favorite class in school. She likes the color purple, as long as it's not too girly, and her favorite food is pizza and Alani drinks.

Emilie is gearing up to start at a new school this fall, and she’s really hoping to make a fantastic first impression on her first day. She’s been eyeing a nice new backpack because she believes it would help her feel more confident and fit in with her new classmates. It’s a big change for her, and having that little boost could really make a difference!
