After aging out of foster care, Marti has found great success and enjoys living independently. She is a motivated, intelligent, and responsible young mother who is overcoming the odds. Marti is a very kind, intelligent, and responsible teen mom of a little boy. While they have both experienced foster care, Marti has beaten the odds, reunified with her son, and obtained her GED due to her hard work and determination. She is continuing her education to become a pharmacy technician. She enjoys math, arts & crafts, dancing, and spending time with her son who she says is doing great and growing very quickly.

Marti is currently facing food insecurity while waiting for her food assistance recertification to be approved. Although she is making every effort to visit local food pantries, she misses having the ability to choose the specific items she needs. There are also certain essentials the pantries do not provide. Marti is determined and resilient, and this support would help ease the stress of this temporary challenge while she continues working toward stability.
