Northern Nevada Moses ProjectArik was taken into foster care a couple of years ago and experienced some very traumatic circumstances. Fortunately, she has been placed with a foster family that has helped her process much of her trauma. Arik is very artistic and enjoys expressing her feelings through art; her favorite color is black, but she is learning to incorporate other colors for artistic effect. Although she sometimes struggles with social interactions, she has a best friend who is a snake.
Arik needs essential school supplies to start her year off strong. Having them ready would make her life easier and genuinely make her day.
