Leo is pursuing a degree in professional writing, though their true passion is creative writing. In their free time, Leo enjoys playing Minecraft, reading, designing video game characters, gardening, and learning how to cook new things. Leo has no contact with their family of origin due to past mistreatment. Leo is balancing their on-campus job, academics, and other responsibilities, to ensure they are financially able to pursue their undergraduate education in hopes of graduating in May 2028. Despite the financial challenges, Leo remains dedicated to their studies and continues to utilize the resources available to them to make sure they are on track to obtain their bachelor's degree, while on an extremely fixed income. 

Leo is entering their junior year in college and is requesting a new laptop for school. Leo is a Professional Writing major, with no family support or financial resources to purchase a new laptop for coursework and to help them work on different personal goals that require access to a computer. The laptop Leo currently has is starting to no longer work and is unreliable. The opportunity to have access to their own laptop will allow Leo to focus on school, as well as their personal goals in the future. Leo plans to use their laptop in completing their degree, and as they begin young adulthood, making this a meaningful investment in their long-term success.
