Sarah has gone through tough times, especially when her mother passed. She wished a family member would take care of her, but instead, she ended up in foster care, moving between different homes and feeling sad. During this challenging period, she discovered a passion for poetry. What began as small notes became her safe space, helping her express her feelings when she felt overlooked. Her poems are honest and full of pain, hope, and yearning. Sarah dreams of publishing a book to share her story and give a voice to others who feel lost. Through her writing, she is discovering that beauty can emerge from deep pain.

Sarah is wishing for a Target gift card so she can pick out the school supplies she needs for a successful year. She's excited to shop for notebooks, a calculator, mechanical pencils, folders, and other classroom essentials that will help her stay organized and ready to learn. Being able to choose the supplies herself would make preparing for school even more meaningful and give her a sense of independence.
