Though adjusting to a new environment can be a big change, Jordyn has shown incredible strength and adaptability. After being out of school for several years prior to her current placement, she has worked tirelessly to turn her education around, making massive improvements in her grades. Jordyn is a strong self-advocate who knows how to speak up for her needs, and in her free time, she loves getting creative with arts and crafts or playing soccer.
Jordyn worked incredibly hard last year, earning school award recognition for being an inspiration to her peers. As she prepares for her transition into sixth grade and middle school, financial challenges make it difficult for her family to get the fresh shoes she needs for the new school year. Receiving this new pair will let Jordyn walk into her middle school halls feeling confident, comfortable, and celebrated for her hard work.
