Azalea is happiest in motion. Whether she's swimming, playing outside with her siblings, or tinkering with electronics to see how they work, she brings the same curiosity and energy to everything she does. That same drive shows up in school too, where she's making great strides, especially in math. As the middle child of four, Azalea treasures her close bond with her siblings. In the middle of the changes that come with foster care, that connection has remained one steady, joyful constant in her life.

Azalea is getting excited for school to start, especially since it's a new school for her this year. The good news is she'll be close by, and she already has friends there, so she's feeling pretty good about the transition. There's just one thing missing, a backpack. Azalea's old one broke, and she's got her heart set on a cute purple one with a bunny on it. Having a backpack she loves would help her start this new chapter feeling excited, prepared, and ready to make the most of her new school.
