Isabel entered care in 2023 after facing significant emotional, physical, and sexual trauma during her adolescence, moving between relatives and foster homes. Now, she enjoys stability with a foster family designated as her permanent legal custodians. Despite her challenges, Isabel is kind, intelligent, hardworking, and resilient. As she enters 12th grade, she participates in basketball and cheerleading, loves doing hair, and has recently become a peer mentor to support other youth in care. Her journey highlights her strength and the positive impact of a supportive environment.

Isabel would love to go on a shopping trip to buy new clothes for her senior year. After years of instability and moving between homes, selecting clothing that reflects her personal style would help her feel confident, comfortable, and prepared for this important milestone. This experience would also provide her with a sense of independence and allow her to start her senior year feeling celebrated.
