Attia is a resilient and caring young person who has faced more struggles and loss than most children her age. Despite the immense challenges, including the tragic loss of her father when she was just nine years old, she has managed to maintain a positive outlook. Recently, she also experienced the passing of her beloved grandmother, who played a significant role in her life. Additionally, Attia has had to cope with her mother’s battles with substance use and the instability of their housing situation. Through all these hardships, Attia continues to rise above her circumstances, embodying strength and hope as she forges her way forward.

Attia's family is currently unhoused and residing in a hotel in a town that is close to the beach and boardwalk. Attia wishes for a bike to help her get around since her mom currently does not have a vehicle. The bike will also enable her to connect with friends. Attia is currently unenrolled in school, but once she re-enrolls, the bike will assist her in traveling to school and participating in any extracurricular activities.
