Jamie is a bright young lady with her whole life ahead of her. She has been living in foster care for a long time and is now taking significant steps to improve her future by moving into the Job Corp program soon to study a trade. She feels both excited and nervous about this step toward independence.

Jamie is working hard attending classes at Job Corps every day. Because she has a short gap between classes that isn't long enough to return to her dorm for a meal, she usually packs a box lunch. Having a fast-food gift card would allow her to occasionally grab lunch at the restaurant across the street when she forgets her lunchbox or wants to enjoy a nice group meal with her friends.
