Journ and her five siblings entered foster care due to concerns about abuse in their biological home. Although they are currently living in separate homes, Journ makes a conscious effort to stay connected with her siblings, whom she misses dearly. Fortunately, she is residing with a family she knows well and has lived with before, which provides her with a sense of comfort and familiarity during this challenging time. Journ has a bright smile and a love for playing outside, always eager to stay active. Despite the difficulties she has faced, she remains hopeful and looks forward to the possibility of being reunited with her siblings one day.

Journey has never had a lunch box of her own. She always had left over plastic bags to take food to school. Receiving a quality lunch box that matches her backpack will give her a sense of pride, organization, and belonging as she head to the classroom. Having a special, durable item of her own will help her feel prepared, confident, and excited to enjoy her meals each day.
