Dallas entered the care system after a troubling situation when his parents were arrested while using substances in the car with him and his siblings. At just 10 years old, he was already carrying the weight of responsibility, working to help provide for his family. Throughout his life, he has faced significant trauma, but despite these challenges, his parents' rights have been severed. Now living in a group home, away from his siblings, Dallas maintains a remarkable sense of happiness and hope. He dreams of finding a forever family and being adopted one day.

Dallas has three younger siblings whom he is separated from, and he often worries about how they are doing. He is currently placed three hours away from them and can visit them once a week, but making the trip takes a long time. Having a phone would help him stay occupied during the ride and allow him to contact his siblings more frequently than just once a week.
