A Shopping Trip for Megan to enjoy a normal teen experience while preparing for her senior year
Megan, 17 years old, MO
Wish submitted by:
Central Missouri Foster Care & Adoption AssociationMegan has experienced a difficult foster care journey, moving from home to home and never having the opportunity to feel like she truly had a place to call her own. She is currently living in a group home and is preparing to start her senior year of high school. Despite the challenges and uncertainty she has faced, Megan has an incredibly positive outlook on life and continues to be one of the happiest and most optimistic people around her. She loves to read, draw, and experiment with makeup, using creativity as a way to express herself. Megan dreams of becoming a social worker so she can support and advocate for children who are experiencing the same struggles she has faced. Her resilience, compassion, and hope for the future are truly inspiring.
Megan wishes for a trip to the mall to choose new clothes for herself as she prepares to begin her senior year. After moving from home to home and spending time in a group setting, Megan has not often had the opportunity to select clothing that reflects her own style and personality. Being able to shop for new clothes and make her own choices would help Megan feel confident, express herself, and celebrate this important milestone. This wish would give Megan a meaningful opportunity to enjoy a normal teen experience while starting her senior year feeling her best.

Central Missouri Foster Care & Adoption Association requests this wish for Megan.
