Journ and her five siblings entered foster care due to concerns about abuse in their biological home. Although they are currently living in separate homes, Journ makes a conscious effort to stay connected with her siblings, whom she misses dearly. Fortunately, she is residing with a family she knows well and has lived with before, which provides her with a sense of comfort and familiarity during this challenging time. Journ has a bright smile and a love for playing outside, always eager to stay active. Despite the difficulties she has faced, she remains hopeful and looks forward to the possibility of being reunited with her siblings one day.

Journ is thrilled to be starting tap dance lessons this fall, marking the very first time in her life that she gets to participate in an organized activity. She has dreamed of dancing for as long as she can remember, and she is finally getting the opportunity to hit the dance floor. Having a pair of tap shoes for her upcoming class will give her everything she needs to step out with confidence, learn new rhythms, and pursue her passion for dance.
