Carrie is a kind individual in foster care who recently experienced an incredibly meaningful change. She and her sister had previously been living in separate foster homes, but they were recently able to move into the same foster home together. Being reunited has been a wonderful experience for both girls, but it has been especially impactful for Carrie, who finds comfort in having her sister by her side.

For her birthday, Carrie would love the opportunity to go on a special shopping trip and choose out some things that are just for her. Being able to browse, make her own selections, and enjoy a fun day of shopping would give Carrie a sense of choice and independence in a situation where those opportunities can often be limited. Most of all, this experience would allow Carrie to celebrate her birthday doing something she loves!
