Evander is a very special youth in foster care who is blind and non verbal. He loves sensory toys and braille books. He enjoys all kinds of music and loves to dance. He is currently living in a facility meant to care for all of his medical needs. The staff describes him as joyful, brilliant and always known for his bright smile.

Voice-controlled technology provides individuals with visual impairments an accessible way to navigate entertainment, stay connected, and enjoy independent learning. Having an Echo Dot in his room will give Evander a convenient, user-friendly tool to explore audiobooks, listen to music, and build everyday independence as he celebrates his special day.
