With her next adventure on the horizon as a college freshman, Leslie is filled with excitement about what lies ahead. She has a passion for beauty, is an avid Spider-Man fan, and possesses a smile that lights up any room. Over the past couple of years, she has softened her hardened exterior, and now she is eager to embrace her newfound independence. Leslie looks forward to making her own decisions, forging new friendships, and pursuing her degree in criminal justice, with a particular interest in forensics.
As Leslie prepares for college, she must face this new chapter without the familial support many of her peers enjoy. Her time in the foster care system involved numerous placement changes, leaving her without a true space that felt like her own. Now, she hopes to create an environment that reflects her individuality, complete with the essentials like snacks and food for her dorm, serving as reminders that there are people who care about her well-being and success.
