YMCA - ILSBrandon, the youngest of his siblings, has found solace in his experience within the foster system, grateful that he was able to stay with them during such difficult times. He recognizes that many youths in foster care are separated from their families, making his bond with his siblings all the more precious. Yet, despite their shared struggles, he often felt unable to lean on them, as they were each dealing with their own challenges. In search of an outlet for his emotions, Brandon turned to drawing, discovering a unique way to express himself without judgment. Through his art, he has cultivated a refuge where he can freely explore his thoughts and creativity, helping him navigate the complexities of his life.
Brandon, the youngest of his siblings, is one of only two who graduated high school and the only one attending college. He has proven his capabilities to those who doubted him and now wants to demonstrate to himself that he can successfully complete college. He is enrolled and working on obtaining transportation. Since he will need to walk a long distance to the nearest bus stop, he would like an e-bike to ease his commute. In addition to taking a full course load, he has also applied for part-time jobs to support himself. Having an e-bike would help him navigate his busy schedule more easily.
