Mazi Adoption and Family ServicesOur agency provides support to children and families impacted by adoption and foster care in our community who may be experiencing circumstances that create additional challenges as they prepare for the new school year. The children we serve come from diverse backgrounds and have unique needs, strengths, and dreams for their future. Many of the children and families we support may face financial hardships or limited access to essential school supplies, clothing, technology, personal care items, and other resources needed to feel prepared and confident at the start of the school year.
Our Back to School Bash is designed to help remove some of the barriers our families face by providing children with school essentials, positive experiences, and an opportunity to begin the school year feeling supported, valued, and ready to learn. Every child deserves the opportunity to walk into their classroom feeling confident and prepared. Through the generosity of our community, we can remind the children we serve that they matter, their education matters, and their future matters.

"We are so thankful to you!!! The event was an absolute success. Event Highlights 11 Mazi families attended, representing 48 clients. 40 children received backpacks filled with school supplies, water bottles, and additional goodies, including stuffies and keychains. 3 staff members supported the event, along with 4 staff children who helped make the day special. Families enjoyed food from Founded Pizzeria. We received a generous donation from One Simple Wish: $500 This donation helped us provide resources and extras that brought excitement and joy to the children as they prepare for the new school year. Family Feedback Our families shared some wonderful feedback about the event: “You all did it again, as usual. I thank you so much. I really appreciate all you've done for me and my children.” “You all put on such a nice event. Thank you for the invite.” “This was lovely. Well done!” The feedback is a wonderful reminder of the impact these events have—not only in providing tangible back-to-school resources, but also in creating a welcoming space where families feel supported, valued, and celebrated.
