CA DCFS - Los Angeles CountyJordyn is a determined and self-reliant young person who recently relocated out of state to live alongside her siblings. Though adjusting to a new environment can be a big change, Jordyn has shown incredible strength and adaptability. After being out of school for several years prior to her current placement, she has worked tirelessly to turn her education around, making massive improvements in her grades. Jordyn is a strong self-advocate who knows how to speak up for her needs, and in her free time, she loves getting creative with arts and crafts or playing soccer.
Jordyn is so excited to head back to school, step into the classroom, and dive into her favorite subject, math. However, as a one-income household with three school-aged children, her family is unable to purchase new uniforms this year. A set of new uniforms will help Jordyn feel confident, prepared, and focused on her studies.
