Darrell is one of five children in his home. His father has been in and out of his life due to various reasons. He struggles significantly when his father is not in the home and the family struggles with their every day basic needs. Darrell's mother was a stay-at-home mother but due to events out of her control, this is no longer the case. The family has been referred to other agencies for assistance to help during this time. Darrell wants a fun and safe way to spend time inside with his siblings.
Darrell is 16 years old and lives in NJ
Darrell is a smart, happy, caring child. He is in the 4th grade and likes to play football. Last year, Darrell struggled in school so his mother considered not allowing him to play football. Darrell was able to turn things around and get back on track and was able to play football this year! Darrell's teacher told his mother how much she loves having Darrell in her class.
