Gino entered foster care at the age of 12 after experiencing sexual abuse and has remained in care since that time. Adjusting to foster care and attending school in a new environment away from family has been challenging, especially without a strong support system to rely on. Despite these experiences, Gino describes themself as hardworking and goal-oriented, with a strong desire to build a successful future and make their dreams a reality. Gino enjoys reading, cooking, and baking and continues to focus on personal growth, independence, and achieving their goals.

Gino is wishing for an e-bike to help him travel to school, medical appointments, and volunteer commitments. He currently relies on public transportation, but bus schedules can be difficult to coordinate with his school and other responsibilities. Gino also dedicates a significant amount of time to volunteering in his community, which requires him to travel to different locations. Having an e-bike would provide Gino with more reliable and flexible transportation, helping him maintain his education, attend important appointments, continue giving back to his community, and become more independent.
