NJ DCFS - Monmouth CountyDan is an adorable little boy with a lively spirit. Although he faces a chaotic home life, he channels his energy through activities that help him manage his typical ADHD behaviors. He loves playing soccer, riding his bike outside with friends, and enjoying games of tag at the park. Inspired by his admiration for heroes in uniform, he dreams of becoming a fireman or a policeman someday. With his zest for life and boundless enthusiasm, Dan embraces every moment with joy and determination.
During a recent home visit, Dan shared with his caseworker that he accidentally broke his tablet because his family couldn’t afford a protective case. His mom explained that the tablet is essential for Dan, as it helps him decompress and provides a distraction when the adults in the household need some downtime. Being a very active child who craves constant attention, Dan often relies on the tablet for positive reinforcement and as a way to wind down before bed. He expressed a strong desire for a new tablet, along with a case to keep it safe.
