Jovani was adopted this year along with his siblings after three years in out of home care, and he's settling into life with his forever family. He's a fun loving kid who's always outside, playing sports, or exploring his neighborhood with an endless stream of questions. He loves collecting rocks and treasures he finds along his walks, and he lights up at the beach, especially the feeling of sand under his feet.

Jovani recently watched someone metal detecting and instantly wanted to try it for himself. A metal detector would give him a brand new way to explore outside and search for treasures of his own, building on the curiosity and love of nature he already has. For a kid who collects rocks and finds joy in the little things he discovers, this would open up a whole new outdoor adventure.
