After a challenging first year of college, Aaliyah faced the risk of homelessness at age 20. Thankfully, a supportive mentor stepped in to offer her a safe place to stay. The home's central air conditioning is currently broken, and the household cannot afford a new unit. To help keep Aaliyah comfortable, the family is ready to install a window A/C unit in her room, but they lack the funds to purchase an extra unit beyond the one needed for their main living space.
