Generation Hope - NOLAKhalia is currently pursuing a degree in nursing. In addition to being a student, Khalia is a mom to a two-year-old son and is expecting her second child, a daughter. She works and lives independently.
Khalia has always budgeted carefully for her transportation, but a locked bank account last month threw everything off. She missed rent, then got hit with late fees she hadn't planned for. She's caught up on rent now, but paying those fees meant dipping into the money she'd set aside for rideshares to get to work. Without those rides, she risks losing the job that supports her family, which puts next month's rent at risk too. A rideshare gift card would help Khalia get through this rough patch and stay on track with her nursing degree and building a stable future for her kids.
