Robbie's story is one of incredible strength and perseverance. Taken from his home at just two years old, he spent the next 16 years in foster care, suffering through various hardships and enduring the painful separation from his four brothers, who were adopted and moved far away. Despite the odds stacked against him, Robbie graduated from high school and was overjoyed to be accepted into a local university. But just a week after celebrating his acceptance, he was kicked out of his foster home and found himself homeless, making it nearly impossible to attend classes. Fast forward a few years, and Robbie has worked tirelessly to turn his life around. He’s saved up enough money to secure a stable place to live and a reliable car. Now, filled with hope and determination, Robbie is ready to chase his dream of earning his college degree.

After aging out of foster care with no support system and facing years of homelessness, Robbie has fought hard to stabilize his life and enroll in college. The laptop he's been borrowing is broken and can't handle the trips back and forth to class or the library. A reliable laptop would give Robbie the tool he actually needs to keep up with his coursework, putting the degree he's worked so hard for finally within reach.
