She's friendly and adaptable, and even after such a big change, she's genuinely excited to start school in the next few days. She's leaning on her older siblings for comfort as the three of them adjust together to their new home.
Monica arrived at her foster home in the middle of the night with only the clothes and shoes she was wearing. Her caregivers have been working hard to get all the kids settled and registered for school, and some support with clothes and shoes would go a long way as they adjust to being a family of six. It's a basic need that would help Monica walk into her new school feeling ready.
