Quinton's childhood was filled with instability, moving through the foster care system and struggling with feelings of rejection and isolation. These experiences led to mental health challenges, including depression and suicidal thoughts, as he often felt invisible to those around him. Despite the adversity, Quinton developed resilience through mindfulness and movement, finding solace in yoga. He discovered his purpose as a trauma-informed yoga instructor, wanting to support system-involved youth facing hardships similar to his own. Now, as he pursues certification, he aims to create a safe space for young people to heal, grow, and feel seen.

Quinton recently moved into an apartment without central air conditioning, and the heat has made it hard for him to feel comfortable in his own space. An AC unit would help him keep his apartment cool so he can actually relax and rest at home. This wish would give Quinton some real relief from the heat and help his new place feel like home.
